The FBCC CDC Nature Club is comprised of families, faculty, and staff of the CDC. The purpose of the FBCC CDC Nature Club is to provide hands-on learning opportunities for children and families together in natural environments, building community and a love of and respect for nature. Together we gather at local nature centers, parks, and other outdoor spaces and spend valuable time in natural spaces. We use this time to support children in their learning outside of the classroom, as adults get a closer glimpse of our Environmental Education Program. Similarly, we help strengthen family bonds and build a sense of community together with families, faculty, and staff.
